One of the best parties on the Island of Ibiza last season, was the Steve Lawler, Viva Warriors Wednesday night, at Sankeys. A creative marketing campaign was put in place early in the season, when local Urban Graffiti Artist, Jerome, was commissioned to promote the party by painting the Ibicenco walls red with the Viva Warriors brand. The clever promotion, drew a quality crowd to the basement of Sankeys, where Lawler skilfully utilised the banging sound system and low ceiling, to create a thumping party of raw, bass driven, tech house. Unpretentious and cool,it was one of the finest underground parties of the season. Reports on the Island suggest, that 2013, will see Lawler and his successful crew, move to a Sunday night slot at Sankeys, leaving the Wednesday night open for a brand new party, that has yet to be confirmed. The blogs trusted newshounds, are keeping their well trained noses to the ground in Ibiza and we hope to have some exciting information to divulge in the next couple of days. For now, reports of the Viva Warriors return to Sankeys, on its new Sunday night slot, will be good news to kick of the new year in Ibiza. UPDATE 2/1/13 Sunday move confirmed by Sankeys
