The DannyKayIbiza Blog is an independent media platform that provides a personal and unique viewpoint of Ibiza. The Blog was first created in 2004 as an information resource. In my role as Tripadvisor Expert for Ibiza I decided to put all my Ibiza Information, gathered over a 28 year period visiting the island as a tourist, in one place where I could direct people to visit when they needed questions answered.

It was very important to me that the Blog grew organically and I was honoured to receive an award in 2014 in recognition of its ethos and freedom of speech. In 2016 I moved to the island to gain experience working alongside some great people and families. I was privileged to manage the Cafe Mambo Social Media team,  one of the best jobs in the world, introducing live sunset feeds and meeting some famous names.  I also trained with leading UK Travel Company Jet 2, gaining invaluable knowledge of the island’s hospitality sector. I have also worked for Ushuaia, Pacha, Ryanair and EasyJet magazines, to name a few. I also provide private Consultancy services and Digital Marketing, offering online solutions, e-commerce and website development.

I have always written the Blog for Ibiza, not one commercial entity or social group. Its content reflects what Ibiza means to me, and writing it allows me to give something back to a special place that has provided my family and me with many happy memories through the decades. The blog is non-commercial, allowing for an agenda-free editorial so if you need help or assistance with anything connected to Ibiza, please feel free to contact me.
