Sol S’Argamassa Ibiza Closed.

The Sol S’Argamassa Hotel in Ibiza is today closed for business. The hotels website however, is currently taking bookings for this week. The hotel is right next to an intended Nikki Beach Ibiza development which is in partnership with the owners of the hotel, the Sol Melia International Group. Work at the Nikki Beach development was halted over 2 weeks ago, when local council officials closed down the site because of problems with building licences. Workmen and engineers have since taken down scaffolding and are on site each day but little construction work has taken place. We do hope to speak with Mike Penrod of Nick Beach Ibiza about their plans for a June 27th Opening party in Ibiza. At the Hotel today, the complex is closed down with no sign of life inside. A sign on the door reads “Hotel Closed. For further information and bookings contact ” Hotel Sol Ibiza”. We hope to have much more on this story soon. UPDATE 6/6/13 Hotel opened 3/6/13. Nikki Beach site still under construction…. expected completion date July 4th.
