The Crowded streets of West End San Antonio

San Antonio, one of the most progressive towns on the Island of Ibiza, have recently employed four private security guards, to ensure that holidaymakers who visit the resort each year, arrive home safely to their hotels. Since the recession has hit Spain, there has been a rise in opportunistic crimes such as muggings, thefts and bag snatching. Ibiza is no different from mainland Europe in this regard, so instead of  ignoring the problem, the Hotel Association of San Antonio decided to take action, and employ private security to patrol the streets as a preventative deterrence to the thieves. Its a welcome move that will help the local police with tourist safety on the streets of San Antonio. The patrols commence at midnight and continue to 7am, the peak hours of tourist footfall, as the crowds come and go from the clubs and bars of the popular resort.
