The Worlds Biggest Club, Privilege, has just announced the much anticipated lineups for its Opening Party on Friday May 25 next. The number 25 resonates within the club this summer, as it is also the silver anniversary of the clubs presence on the island, a truly remarkable achievement. An assorted and tasty looking lineup, different from other years, has been put together by Privilege and the Supernova group, led by ex Cream agent, Nick Ferguson. It features something for everybody, with some classic and entertaining house acts mixed with trendy techno artists, the highlight being, a back to back set from the legendary Sasha and Kolsch in the Vista room.

Faithless will headline the main room at Privilege.

The underground trend is continued with the addition of Do Not Sleep resident Darius Syrossian and one of the most respected DJ’s on the local scene in Ibiza, Nick Curly, who will be joined by Joshua. Guti will provide a live set to accompany what is a deconstructed looking musical menu for the night. In the main room, it’s got a lighter feel to warm up the party for what is sure to be an epic sunrise set in the Vista Room. Classic house from Grammy award winning American DJ and producer, David Morales, who recorded the Balearic anthem Needing U, which was shot on the island during a golden era for Ibiza dance culture in 1998 (when Trance and House ruled) featuring well known DJ’s, Hotels and party people, including the white bearded, Lionel Melie, aka Captain Birdseye, who was partying on into his seventies and is seen dancing at 3.06 in below video.

Joining Morales in the main room will be another home grown talent in Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago who are now managed by the rising Cafe Mambo Agency, as is another guest on the night, DJ Oliver. Headlining the main room will be a DJ set from renowned British artists Faithless alongside Spanish artist Danny Avila. The Privilege program is the first one put together and booked by the Supernova Group founded by ex Cream Manager, Nick Ferguson, and his Balearic influenced style has delivered an organic and expressive feel to the Opening party which is always a refreshing touch these days. On an international stage, Ibiza really needs to retain a Balearic infulence to its parties and Privilege has delivered just that. We wish all concerned the very best of success for an Opening Party that is sure to raise quite a few eyebrows of interest.  Tickets at €40 are on sale now.
