One of the highlights of my Ibiza holidays last year was an invitation to Guy Laliberté’s Villa Party in Es Cubelles to see how the other side lives and parties and it was quiet an eye opener indeed. The Cirque du Soleil philanthropist is now involved with Heart Ibiza alongside renowned Chefs, Albert and Ferran Adrià. Its first season was a difficult one with a number of teething problems which seems to be typical for any new establishment opening in Ibiza.

There are three areas in the venue, a restaurant, club and a cool rooftop terrace called, The Baraka, which I quiet like indeed as it serves some tasty street food with a twist and modern tapas surrounded by ambient live art performances. The restaurant is ideal for a romantic meal and is decadently oppulant while the club, La Boite, hosts performing acts and live shows. Acid Sundays with Acid Pauli was a party that had a lot of people talking about it last season.

Located on the waterfront, with great views of Dalt Villa, the terrace is my favorite spot and with experience and lessons learnt from its opening season, I expect Heart to become one of the islands top venues especially with a more mature and discerning clientele. €80 gets you entry onto the terrace with street food included in the price.
