Gatecrasher Takes Over Eden |
Social media outlets in Ibiza, are reporting that iconic dance brand Gatecrasher, will return to the island for the 2014 summer season. The blog can now reveal that the Birmingham based brand, is rumoured to take over the recently refurbished Eden nightclub, which was bought by Dutch entrepreneur, Michael van de Kuit, in the spring of last year for a cool €12 million. The club then underwent a huge makeover, which saw it transform into a stylish and cool venue, with one of the best sound systems on the island. Gatecrasher are rumoured to be interested in a substantial lease on the property, so their intention is to invest with a long term outlook on the Ibiza market. The news will be seen as an exciting development for San Antonio, as the award winning, international brand, is a much loved and respected outfit. The slick branding, GCIbiza, has already started to appear on the Gatecrasher website with announcements early this morning on Facebook and Twitter. The full music program will be released soon, with some surprises and associations with other parties rumoured to be happening. Two well know Ibiza parties are in negotiations to reside there over the summer. Nothing has been confirmed by Eden, so until then we will have to wait and see if the move by Gatecrasher is accepted and signed off on. As usual the blog will update on any news that develops on this story. (see below comment) Follow us on Twitter for all the latest gossip from Ibiza.
