Solomun To Open Free Party Series

After last years success, Pacha are to run a series of four free parties, to say thanks to the island for their support over the last season and at the same time, showcase their talent for the next. The parties will be free to all island residents holding a NIE number. For non residents, there will be a special reduced ticket available, that will reflect the genuine gesture of good will. The parties will take place in April and May, before the official season commences. Like last year, Solomun, will be the first to play on Saturday, April 26th. Pacha confirmed to the blog that the other confirmed dates are John Digweed, on May 16th and Nicky Romero will bring the four party series to a close, when the club officially opens for its summer season on Wednesday 21st of May. Two other artists for the series are expected to be unveiled after the Miami Music Week, one of which will be the brand new resident for Monday night. There has been a lot of speculation and gossip on the island as to who the mystery artists and Monday night residents will be and the blog understands that an official announcement is expected next week. Rumours suggest that the night will be a Balearic house themed party and other sources are saying that it will be a big surprise. With Steve Akoi already confirmed for Wednesdays at Pacha, the new party for Monday night is expected to be a big one.
