With its stock continuing to rise on the island, the future of the Darius Syrossian led, Do Not Sleep party, will be keenly anticipated this season. After starting out at Privilege, then moving on to pay homage to the iconic Space terrace in its final year, the party has attracted plenty of admirers due mainly to its top lineups and music comes first attitude.  While many DJ’s were quick to jump on the Vinyl bandwagon in Ibiza last summer, it was Syrossian (who spent 15 years trading the licorice platters in his record store) that championed its welcome comeback.

Do Not Sleep has survived three seasons on the island, the hardest nut to crack for any party and is now ready to reap the benefits from that solid foundation.  Last season before it moved to Space, both Amnesia and Sankeys were interested in securing the services of Do Not Sleep, but the temptation and kudos to play the curtain falling Space terrace rightly won out. Along with artists such as Kolsch, Nick Curly, Hector Cuto and Leon, Amnesia music director Mar T was associated with the party last summer.

Now rumours are suggesting that Do Not Sleep is heading to the Amnesia stable to join the impressive line up at the islands top club. It will be no more than the party deserves, as it attracts a loyal underground following that will also interest David Vincent at Sankeys and maybe one or two other venues. With much of the Amnesia schedule yet to be signed off on Ibiza 2017, the addition of Do Not Sleep and Darius Syrossian to its weekly line ups, will no doubt add to the parties growing stature on the island.
