Ingrosso and Axwell set for Ushuaia Residency. |
Rumours are circulating on the Island of Ibiza, that two of the Swedish House Mafia members, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell, will return to Ushuaia, to continue last seasons Wednesday residency. After the trio ended their “SHM” relationship with the One Last Tour event in Miami last week, rumours began to circulate, that Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell, would continue a working relationship together. The pair have already collaborated on the “mystery” track that has opened many of their One Last Tour gigs. The track is entitled We Come We Rave We Love but has yet to be officially released. A summer release of the single, would tie in nicely, with a launch to promote the duo’s new partnership together. Yesterday evening, the Ibiza Times Twitter account announced that Ushuaia would host the new Ingrosso-Axwell residency for Ibiza 2013.

When contacted by the blog, Ushuaia, failed to deny or confirm the rumour, instead issuing a standard, “No Comment” reply. With its Wednesday slot still vacant, all eyes will be on the popular beach side venue in Playa Den Bossa, awaiting white smoke to emerge. If Ushuaia do manage to sign Axwell and Ingrosso for a “We Come We Rave We Love” party, then it would be a season “deal breaker” in Ibiza, such is the huge support among a certain demographic for the SHM experience. Axwell, is reported to be the closest of the trio to the Ibiza vibe and was particularly annoyed with the breakdown of the Privilege residency negotiations last season. He will be quiet happy to reside in Ibiza this summer and Ushuaia would have the financial clout and prestige to make an Axwell-Ingrosso residency happen. Its an exciting time ahead for the legions of SHM fans Worldwide, as all roads will lead to Ushuaia this summer if the residency is confirmed. As we await official confirmation from Ushuaia or Amy Thompson, the old adage that says “The Show must go on” springs to mind.
