One of the islands most stunning venues, Hostal La Torre, which enjoys breathtaking, panoramic views of Cap Nono and the Mediterranean sea, has reopened for business after a fire which damaged its kitchen and surrounding areas. The old hostel which is now managed by the Mambo Group, who have done an admirable job in retaining the integrity of the venue while at the same time adding to it with a new cocktail terrace bar, improved menu and a sophisticated music program, has just announced its May line up for the Ibiza 2019 season. Three highly influential and pioneering artists from the early Balearic movement have been confirmed, as 70’s Pacha star Pippi is joined by Amnesia influencer Alfredo and the man who established the chill out genre at Cafe Del Mar, Jose Padilla.

The music program at Hostal La Torre is overseen by one of the longest serving DJ’s on the Cafe Mambo roster, Pete Gooding, who is now managing a number of Ibiza based talent and helping to program Balearic themed events. Also joining Gooding on the program are two other well known and respected DJ’s, Andy Wilson and connoisseur of all things Balearic, NuNorthern Soul Records owner, Phat Phil Cooper.  It’s sure to be a classical and alternative Ibiza soundtrack to every sunset at Hostal La Torre this summer, so if you want to capture the essence of the real Ibiza, then dinner and sunset at La Torre is not to be missed. We would strongly advise to avoid disappointment, that sunset dinner reservations are made in advance by calling the restaurant on 971 34 22 71.
