The DannyKayIbiza Blog is an independent media platform that offers a personal and unique perspective on Ibiza. The Blog was first created in 2004 as an information resource. In my role as a TripAdvisor Expert for Ibiza, I decided to consolidate all the information I had gathered over 28 years of visiting the island in one place where I could direct people when they needed answers.

It was essential to me that the Blog grew organically, and I was honoured to receive The Muchoticket Best Blogger award in 2014 in recognition of its ethos and freedom of speech. In 2016, I moved to the island to gain experience working alongside some great people and families. I was privileged to manage the Cafe Mambo Social Media team, one of the best jobs in the world, where I introduced live sunset feeds and met some famous names. I also trained with the leading UK Travel Company, Jet 2, gaining invaluable knowledge of the island’s hospitality sector. I have also worked for Ushuaia, Pacha, Ryanair and EasyJet magazines, to name a few. I also provide private Consultancy services and Digital Marketing, offering online solutions, e-commerce and website development.

I have always written the Blog for Ibiza, not one commercial entity or social group. Its content reflects what Ibiza means to me, and writing it allows me to give something back to a special place that has provided my family and me with many happy memories through the decades.
