David Guetta To Miss Rest Of Ibiza 2023 Season Due To Illness

Written by Dan Kirwan
French DJ and producer David Guetta, who was taken ill in Ibiza recently, forcing him to miss two performances for Ushuaia Entertainment last weekend, has issued a statement regarding his future appearances on the island this season. A press release issued by Guetta’s management stated that “Due to medical advice from his doctor, David Guetta has been told to rest for at least the next two weeks after he caught a virus last week.” This will mean that Guetta will not be making any further appearances in Ibiza this season.
The statement also includes a quote from Mr Guetta “I have had an amazing summer playing in Ibiza and around the world, and am so sorry that I have no choice but to close my residencies early. However, we are already working on incredible plans for the 2024 Ibiza season at Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza!¨
The news will disappoint his many Ibiza fans who have sold out his shows at Hi and Ushuaia this summer. A statement from Ushuaia Entertainment regarding his remaining parties is expected to be made this week. The blog will update on this big story as more news comes to hand.
