DJ Tiesto, real name Tijs Michiel Verwest, confirmed on Twitter today, that he will end his five year association with the Worlds Biggest Club, Privilege, in San Rafel, Ibiza. His Tweet that “Last year (2011) was the last time” he would be at Privilege, confirmed an amicable end to his residency at the Club. In Ibiza, there is a local saying that to be in a Job, three years is just right, five is too many. The Ibiza street dogs, were barking as early as last September, the rumour that Tiesto wanted a new challenge on the Island in 2012. The same dogs are now howling the headline that Tiesto, is to make the short trip to Pacha, to take over the slot left vacant by Swedish House Mafia on Monday nights. The Swedes in turn, are strongly rumoured to perform a number of live shows at Privilege on Monday Nights. Tiesto’s association with Privilege will be remembered in a positive light, where his legendary Ibiza Inspired, In Search of Sunrise trance sets, were the best in the World of their genre.
