Diggers Start Work on Festival Site |
Reports from the Island of Ibiza, suggest that the new 123 Rocktronic Festival set for San Antonio in the first weekend of July, is not capturing the imagination of the punters, as slow ticket sales threaten the future of the event. If not for the financial backing of the powerful Live Nation Entertainment Company, who can afford to absorb early losses, the event may have been cancelled.
The organisers are taking a long term view, in the hope that the Festival will build in popularity over the next few years. This years event will proceed, with the diggers expected to start work on the site near to Cafe Mambo next week. Slow tickets sales and a moderate line up, due to available artists on tour at that time of the season, has resulted in doubts cast over the future of the event.
