Human League and Kool and the Gang to play Ibiza in August.

Ushuaia Beach Hotel, in its first season on the sands of Playa Den Bossa, has certainaly made a name for itself as a party venue. While it may be experiencing teething problems as a Hotel, its outdoor daytime parties have really taken off. The booking of Swedish House Mafia and Sasha, for their unique late afternoon 5pm-Midnight timeslot, has enhanced the Ushuaia Beach brand and put it on a sound platform for 2012.

A cleverly marketed pre sale ticket of €25, has made Ushuaia and its blue chip DJ line up, accessible to the average holidaymaker in Ibiza. Ushuaia have to be commended for this initiative and hopefully the goodwill generated will help Ushuaia establish its name and brand with the Ibiza Clubbing fraternity.

The spirit of Ibiza is closely connected to dance and music. Button pushing DJ’s while popular, are not the only source of music and dance. Ibiza Rocks has established itself as the leading Live Music venue on the Island, offering an edgy, raw, Brit Rock alternative to a young festival crowd. Privelege has just ventured into the live music market with acts such as Jamiroquai, Snoop Dogg and Taio Cruz all lined up for the summer.

Ushuaia have nicked up the inside of both Ibiza Rocks and Privilege by launching an 80’s live theme for their daytime parties. Popular 80’s new wave Synth pop band Human League along with funk and disco legends Kool and the Gang are all set for a retro weekend at Ushuaia on Sunday the 7th and Monday the 8th of August. Pre Sale Tickets are priced at €35 for the Human League gig can be purchased at http://www.ibizahire.com/tickets/Ibiza-Cheap-Night-Club-Tickets
