Located on what remains, one of the islands most traditional Spanish beaches, Cala Martina, is a simple Chiringito, where excellent fish is served on the beach while the sand exfoliates your toes. It serves up one of the best Paellas on the island and is a very popular haunt with the locals. Try to avoid at the weekends as its a very Spanish affair, busy with long waits to be served.
You get to pick the fresh fish from the display fridge and its cooked to order. A great way to spend a lazy and leisurely day by the beach, in this non pretentious and laid back restaurant. Make sure to try the house special, Gambas al la Plancha, prawns served with their heads so that you can suck the juices! Restaurante Martina is open all year round also.
