Dublin, Cagliari, Malaga and Reus are the four new Airports that will join Ryanairs Ibiza schedule in 2011. Ryanair’s Ibiza traffic will now grow to over 800,000 passengers in 2011, sustaining up to 800 jobs on the island.
The new Dublin- Ibiza route will open up the Island to off season Irish traffic, with flights starting in March and ending late October. Flights will be twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. From Dublin direct flights to Ibiza are now available on Tuesday, Wenesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with Aer Lingus and Ryanair. Not bad when you consider that 2 years ago, the sole direct route to Ibiza was with charter Airlines flying one round trip a week.
