New Owners Rumoured For Sankeys Ibiza

Sankeys Nightclub Ibiza, located in Playa den Bossa, is rumoured to have new owners. The club was reportabley up for sale with a number of interested parties including a big American online player, a British consortium and a Swiss company. At present the club is lying idle, with fire damage to the Lab room and other areas in need of repair, but the venue is expected to be open and trading this season as an underground venue, reflecting the old Sankeys style of being more about the music, and less about VIP tables.  An official announcement as to the identity of the new owner is expected soon, once all the legal and licencing paperwork is concluded, a not so straight forward process in Ibiza, as real estate sales can be fraught with potential minefields where deals call fall through at the last moment.  So until there is an official press release from the new owners that the sale is concluded, we will have to wait a little longer before we know the clubs future direction and branding.
