The Curragh Plains

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my followers and visitors to this blog a very happy Christmas and a merry new year. Its been very snowy here in Ireland and temperatures have reached -18 in places. Its been a difficult time for travellers coming home for Christmas also, as Dublin Airport has experienced heavy snow showers which have shut down operations and runways.

Curragh Camp View

On the Curragh in County Kildare, where I live and ride out horses, it has been difficult period  for both human and animal as frozen ground and gallops restrict movement and exercise. On the positive side there are some picture perfect images of snowy landscapes and Christmas vistas which I have included.

On The Gallops

It has been an interesting year, finding my feet around the operations of Blog-sphere and editing content for the Blog. It is still very much a work in progress and I would appreciate any feedback or constructive criticism that people may have. I hope to evolve the Blog in an easy to use format which is user friendly and helps people trying to make a decision when visiting Ibiza.
