The popular Glitterbox party, now in its fourth season on the island, has become the first UK promoted party to sign with Hï Ibiza. It will retain its Friday night slot that it worked hard to establish at Space, attracting a more mature crowd with an open and freestyle music policy rooted in Disco and House. Glitterbox, promoted by Simon Dunmore’s Defected stable, stated that it would continue to attract “an open-minded and passionate crowd encompassing all ages, colours, genders and sexual orientations”.

Unlike the Defected party, Glitterbox has been going the right way in Ibiza, growing year on year and the move by Hï to sign it to a weekly residency, will only rise its stock value on the island. In a short period of time it has become the premier Disco House party in Ibiza mainly due to its music policy and the diverse crowd it attracts. It joins Martin Garrix on Mondays and Black Coffee on Saturdays as the now confirmed parties at Hï Ibiza for Ibiza 2017.

The new design and concept of Hï should play to the strengthens of Glitterbox and the party looks to have a bright future ahead of it. Glitterbox opens at Hï Ibiza on Friday June 9 and runs to September 29 with the exception of August 9. Glitterbox returns to Ministry of Sound in London on Bank Holiday Sunday April 30th, with headliners Roger Sanchez, Aeroplane and Karizma, for another ‘Day and Night’ party with full roller disco.
