Legendary Ibiza DJ Alfredo, the man responsible for the establishment of the Balearic Beat sound, which he pioneered at Amnesia back in the late eighties, is to perform a free party at Faro in San Antonio on Sunday the 26th of August. The event is part of the bloop-festival which takes place on the Island of Ibiza from July 15th to Sunday August 31st. The free Festival is supported by the council of Sant Antoni De Portmany and aims to spread art, music, video mapping, live performances and parties in Ibiza. Bloop will collaborate with We Love@Space for a number of dates and will feature DJ’s and live performances. Along with the DJ Alfredo sunset party on August 26th, the appearance by Reggae DJ, Earl Gateshead, at the Bloop Festival Opening party next Sunday, is definitely one for the note book. Both the San Antonio Council and Bloop, deserve a lot of credit for making this non commercial experience happen and we wish the festival all the very best of luck for its future.
