TOP FAMILY HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS
Fiesta Tanit Cala Gracio. In a quiet location just outside San Antonio on the west coast. All Inclusive Hotel with a range of activities for kids. Located very near the Aquarium at Cap Blanc and two 2 safe and child friendly beaches. A bus stop and ferry service outside the door and San Antonio only a 25 min pleasurable walk along a new wooden sunset promenade. Watch out for Free Child places in January and May and 20% discounts in May. Food is good and geared towards its predominately British Isles market.
Invisa Hotel Club Cala Verde In a remote location with only sea and rock around which has fantastic clear views out to sea. A good mix of clientele English,French, German, Spanish and Italian and in the main its all families, as the hotel is well known for its entertainment programme and activities for the kids. An ideal base if a family just wants to stay in the Hotel for the week as all their needs are well catered for. Transport links are very limited.
Invisia Hotel Erso located in Es Cana which is similar to a Blackpool themed resort. Full of English themed pubs and restaurants the area is hughley popular with British Isle families who return year after year. The Erso is one of the most popular family hotels in Es Cana and has lots to entertain the kids into the small hours of the day.
Hotel Club Bahamas on the beach in the resort of Playa Den Bossa, which is only 5 minutes from the Airport, so would suit a family wanting a short transfer time. The resort has lots of facilities available and is home to the Islands only waterpark, which is ideal for kids under 12. Popular All Inclusive option but also has other board options available. Clientele is predominately British Isles.
Sirenis Seaview Hotel next to the nice sunset beach of Port De Torrent. The Sirenis group of Hotels are a safe option as they are a professionally managed. All staff wear uniforms and the Hotels are well maintained and clean. Food quality is above average and there is an air of efficiency about the place. The Seaview is one of the most popular in the Sirenis Group, especially for families, as they offer a great entertainment package with lots to do for the kids, even a teenage disco. The area is quiet with a good safe beach and great views of sunset on your doorstep. A bus stop outside the door of the Hotel will bring a person into San Antonio in under 20mins. The Bay area is 15 mins walk from the Hotel, as is one of the best Fish Restaurants on the Island, Can Puyol.
Playa Bella Apartments on the seafront of San Antonio Bay with lots of facilities and family themed bars and entertainment located nearby. One of the few apartment complex’s in Ibiza with 3 bedrooms available. Good quality with a kids splash pool installed in 2010. Good entertainment programme and ideal for families who like to self cater with access to a number of facilities nearby. Popular with British Isle holidaymakers.
Balansat and Torremar Apartments situated in the quiet, northern resort of Puerto San Miguel. All inclusive options are available but in the main, these apartments, both located in the same complex with shared facilities, are self catering and of above average quality for Ibiza. Traditional Spanish resort, in a beautiful bay with a very safe and child friendly beach. There is no through traffic and the apartments are directly on the beach. The resort has a handful of shops and restaurants and would suit a family wanting a peaceful and relaxing holiday without too much commercialism to distract kids from the simple pleasures of sandcastles, the beach and ice cream. A splash pool for the kids has lots of slides and waterfalls and is free for residents of the apartments.
